If you have over-torqued your rod bolts, reading high on a stretch gauge, or have torqued them three times previously, then it is recommended to replace your connecting rod bolt(s). This is one replacement genuine 3/8" ARP 2000 connecting rod bolt, sold individually be sure to purchase the number of replacement bolts you need, 2X per rod.
To match the high-quality manufacturing and extreme quality control of IE Connecting Rods, we choose to use the industry benchmark ARP 2000 alloy bolts to match. ARP 2000 Alloy is a massive upgrade from the common 8740 alloy bolts and features tensile strengths in the 220000 psi range. The high-level consistency of quality and detail is apparent in the high-quality threads which are rolled after heat treatment for highest fatigue resistance available.
