IE's MQB 2.0T/1.8T Intake System & Turbo Inlet Pipe Is Now CARB certified!

IE is pleased to announce that our 2015-2020 VW & Audi MQB 2.0T & 1.8T Air Intake and Turbo Inlet Pipe are now CARB certified. This means they are now considered to be an emissions compliant performance product in all 50 states within the United States (US territories are not included). With IE’s CARB certified products you can enjoy upgrading your car and can now do so legally!  

PRODUCT INFORMATION

The following two products are CARB certified under the CARB EO Number, D-838-1: 

• IEINCI10 - IE Turbo Inlet Pipe for VW & Audi 2.0T/1.8T Gen 3 Engines | Fits VW MK7 & Audi 8V
• IEINCI11 - IE MQB 2.0T/1.8T Gen 3 Cold Air Intake | VW MK7 GTI, Golf R, Golf & Audi 8V A3, S3

CARB STICKERS

The CARB sticker for the matching product must be permanently attached and visible in the engine bay to pass your local emissions-related visual inspection. Products shipped after October 10th, 2021 now include a CARB sticker with a CARB EO number. 

 If you purchased the intake ON or AFTER April 5th, 2021 you may request a sticker by contacting our support team with proof of purchase. Products purchased BEFORE April 5th, 2021 are not eligibly deemed CARB compliant and a sticker can not be legally supplied.
