IE's HPFP complete pump upgrade for the Audi 3.0TFSI Supercharged engines is a completely assembled bolt-on high-pressure fuel pump upgrade. The new OEM fuel pump housing is meticulously assembled with our USA-engineered and manufactured high-flow internals that will reliably provide enough fuel system pressure for dual pulley ECU tunes to provide enough flow for ethanol fuel blends. The 11.67mm piston is the largest sized diameter possible within the fuel-pump body.

HIGH-VOLUME INTERNALS
Your HPFP provides extremely high fuel pressure (exceeding 1500psi) to the direct injection system on your Audi 3.0T supercharged engine. Fuel output and ultimately power is limited by the internal displacement of the pump. By increasing the bore and piston size of the pump internals, the HPFP upgrade is capable of producing much more flow. This higher-output HPFP design offers the fuel increase needed for those running Stage 2 Dual Pulley setups and looking to run higher octane fuels for aggressive race and track style driving.
PRECISION ASSEMBLY
The internal assembly of your HPFP is a delicate balance of astonishingly high pressure and extremely delicate tolerances. Every piston and cylinder is a match set CNC machined to exacting sizes. Tolerances between the two are hand-tested using precise measurement gauge tools and verified down to 0.00005 of an inch! These tolerances are required due to the maximized size of our pump assembly and absolutely critical for HPFP reliability and function. Even the smallest contamination can cause pump wear or failure, to ensure this each pump is assembled in a clean environment with a Laminar flow hood. This is why IE only sells HPFP pumps fully assembled in new OE housings as to ensure reliability.

INCLUDED LIMITED WARRANTY
The IE HPFP upgrade internals allow for the largest displacement available. To accomplish this, the assembly tolerances are incredibly tight and proper installation in a clean environment is absolutely critical. Due the required specialized equipment to assemble, test, and verify our IE HPFPs they are only sold as complete assembled units in new Audi OE housings. Due to this in-house assembly process, IE offers a Limited Warranty on the entire pump assembly:
Unlimited miles within 18 months from the original purchase date
CONSTANT DIAMETER PIN
The piston & cylinder engineered for HPFP upgrade is a constant diameter design; meaning it maintains the outer size through the entire piston shaft. This ensures no displacement change occurs on the bottom side of the piston and protects against pressurized pulses against the shaft seal. After testing many pump designs, IE engineers determined this feature necessary for long reliable pump operation. Be wary of pump designs with a stepped diameter engineered to use the factory seal as a cost saving design. We have found these units reduce the contact between the pin and cylinder by over 50% which greatly increases wear, pin leakage, and instability of the pin.
DLC COATED
DLC (diamond-like carbon coating) combines hardness and low friction, providing excellent wear properties and self-lubrication behavior that drastically extends the life of the tool steel piston.
NITRIDED CYLINDER
The cylinder can see up to 19000 strokes a minute and is lubricated by fuel only. Our tool steel cylinder is infused with nitrogen atoms into the atomic structure of the outer surface of the component, increasing surface hardness and wear properties drastically. The thickness and quality of every nitride production batch are independently verified in a specialty lab.
LEAK-FREE SEAL
To prevent fuel leaking past the HPFP seal and into the crankcase, our HPFP upgrade includes a molybdenum disulphide seal used for it's stiffness and reduced friction characteristics. To further reduce the chance of failure, the seal is spring energized to provide constant outward pressure, even as the seal ages. What may seem like a small feature -in reality provides a reliable and long-life HPFP upgrade.
PUMP DYNO BREAK-IN
Every IE internal kit is run on our own application-specific fuel pump dyno to verify proper function and break-in before being packaging. This strict QC process, combined with our 100% in-house CNC machining and top-shelf components, is why IE HPFPs have earned their rock-solid reputation for extreme reliability.
INSTALLATION
Installing this fully assembled pump is a fast and easy same as stock bolt-in upgrade. Installing your new HPFP involves disconnecting fuel lines and experienced or professional installation is highly recommended.
Install time around 1-2 hours

2016-2017 A6 & A7 CREC 3.0T engines are equipped with both direct injeciton (DI) and manifold injection (MPI) and do not require HPFP upgrades for ethanol use. Compatible IE software tuning is not available for HPFP use on CREC engines. CREC engine is also found in ROW (rest-of-world) markets on some late-model S4 & S5 3.0T as well. CREC engines are easily identified as the supercharger pulley has 4 bolts to attach it to the supercharger instead of a press-fit style.
The IE HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) Upgrade is the missing link to provide enough fuel for dual pulley setups attempting big power on higher octane fuels. The 11.67mm piston is the largest sized diameter possible within the fuel-pump body and offers 3% more flow than any competition on the market. Every assembly is hand measured to incredibly strict tolerances and assembled into a brand new OE pump body in a clean filtered environment for extreme reliability. Put the worry of fuel pressure issues behind you on your Audi supercharged 3.0T engine with IE's Performance HPFP upgrade.
