I've been very happy with this system. I was really hoping to avoid drone and was happy to find that there was none on my B9 A4 with this system. 100% agreed with one of the other reviews - it's far easier to remove the CAT from above. The pieces all fit very nicely together, match up perfectly to the stock parts and look great. I think that the sound is definitely a subjective matter. It's a 4cyl and sounds like one - it'll never sound like a 6 or an 8, nor was I expecting it to. Startup sounds nice and under easy driving it stays quiet below 2,500rpm. Push it and it'll open up with a nice rasp as the RPMs come down. This is more apparent in auto and sport mode, and even moreso of course in manual mode. But drive it easy and it's relatively unassuming.

When I installed this system I had already tuned my car with a stage I ECU and stage II TCU tune from Unitronic (sorry IE!) plus all the other necessary components for a stage II tune. After installing this system I had no CELs with the stage I tune. Neither did I of course with stage II (also Unitronic). I'm not a mechanic and had help installing, took about 5 hours with the car on jack stands.

I spent a lot of time researching different products and I am very happy with this system.

I have been working on cars for 50 years. I have installed so many aftermarket parts on cars, and this was one of the easiest, everything, just fit perfectly! The installation instructions were very informative. I was able to remove the header pipe and the cat to the manifold from the rear of the engine compartment. So i didn't need to use a long extension from underneath the car, and I didn't need to lower the transmission. Excellent system, well worth the money. With the exhaust system and the intercooler, I was able to unleash the stage 2 tune. This this is now a rocket and it sounds great. Love the exhaust, when you get on it it sounds like a race car, but when you are cruising at hwy speeds it quite. Thank you integrated engineering.

I had the IE intake and IE stage 1 flash. That alone was awesome. This just brings it all together nicely. Sounds awesome, when I want it, and nice while I cruise along. It really lets the turbo do its thing more effectively. Slight gargle when coming to a stop. Nothing overwhelming just nice, like it’s a true performance car. I love the products from IE and will keep purchasing as they come out for my vehicle.
