THROTTLE DOWN, SOUND ON
The stock airbox on your Audi A4 or A5 2.0T has been manufactured to silence all engine and turbo sounds at any performance cost. Upgrading your air system with an IE polymer intake will release a symphony of engine throttle, spool, and blow-off sounds that will be music to your ears.
MULTIPLE PRESSURE ZONES
This intake features high and low pressure zones to feed the turbocharger and engine demands for any power goal. The majority of fresh air supply is supplied to the filter from the grill. If additional air demands are required, the intake will pull low-pressure air through the filter cover as needed.
BUILT-IN VELOCITY STACK
The integrated velocity stack smooths the airflow from the large filter into the charge system with excellent laminar properties. This powerful design detail results in a very high inertia flow with reduced drag and power-robbing turbulence at the critical point as air enters the turbocharger.
3D scanning tools are leveraged to create a high-resolution digital environment allowing our engineers to take advantage of all available space for a complete performance design while ensuring a hassle-free install.
Countless design revisions, rapid prototyping, flow bench testing, dyno runs, and real-world verification has resulted in a performance intake design with power gains of up to 10-20HP on tuned engines!
FLOW BENCH TESTING
Back-to-back flow bench testing details consistent airflow gains of up to +70 CFM over stock! This increase shows efficiency over the factory parts and capability to provide increased airflow demands from ECU tunes and performance hardware upgrades.
