Already tuned with IE but hungry for more power? Adding hardware and upgrading the required stage is easy with your IE POWERlink Flash Cable. You only pay the difference in tune cost when upgrading stages with no extra fees. All you need is your POWERlink serial number (found on the back) to add upgrade credits to your cable.

iE Tuning Credits are the dedicated currency for your POWERlink Tuner. One Credit equals one US Dollar. Use them to instantly unlock tune stages, add features, or jump from Core to Apex Suites without waiting for shipping or managing complex license files.

HOW IT WORKS

When you purchase iE Credits, our server identifies your unique POWERlink Serial Number and pushes the balance directly to your device via the cloud. No file attachments. No downtime. You simply open the app, and the credits are there.

INSTRUCTIONS

We kept this simple. Just locate the Serial Number starting with "V3" or "V4" on the back of your dongle and enter it at checkout. Once purchased, the system will auto-sync via the cloud, and your credits will appear in 5–20 minutes.

HOW MANY CREDITS DO I NEED?

No guesswork needed. Open your POWERlink App on your phone or laptop software and tap the locked tune or feature you want to access. The app automatically calculates the exact credits you need to upgrade, pre-fills your cart, and takes you directly to checkout. You just have to place the order or enter that specific quantity on this page during check out.

FAQ

How do I check my balance?

You can see your credit balance anytime using the POWERlink app. Your available credit balance is displayed on the main dashboard.

I don’t have my POWERlink App handy, how many credits do I need?

If you can't access the app to check the exact amount, you can manually calculate the "Gap" between your current tune suite and your target suite. [Target Suite Price] - [Current Suite Price] = Credits Needed (Example: Moving from the $370 Core Suite to the $620 Pro Suite requires exactly 250 Credits).

Do I need to buy a new POWERlink for a Stage or TCU upgrade?

No. Your POWERlink Tuner hardware is capable of all iE suites, features, & stages. You simply buy credits to unlock the tune upgrade permissions on your existing device.

What if I sell my car?

Credits are hardware-locked, not VIN-locked. Any unused credits stay on the POWERlink dongle and transfer to the new owner. Once credits are spent on a tune, that license is permanently locked to the car's VIN.

Can I use these for other tuners?

No. These are exclusive to the iE ecosystem. Unlike generic credits, these are designed specifically for our POWERlink tune upgrade architecture to ensure instant, server-side delivery.

What if I bought too many / not enough credits?

Answer here.Don’t worry, We built in a safety net. If you over-buy, unused credits are fully refundable, just contact Customer Support. If you fall short, simply purchase the remaining balance in a second transaction. The server automatically stacks the new credits onto your existing Serial Number.

Where are my credits / What if I entered the wrong Serial Number?

If your credits haven't appeared after 20 minutes, it is almost always a typo in the Serial Number. Don't panic, your money isn't lost. The credits are simply sitting in a "pending" state on the server. Contact Customer Support with your Order Number and the correct Serial Number, and we will manually re-route them to your device.
