FAQs
Why choose iE B9 S4 exhaust?
+ Aggressive deep roar under throttle
+ DroneTrap™ smooths harsh annoyances
+ No highway drone or cabin fatigue
+ Built strong with boxed hangers
+ True bolt-on with no cutting or welding
Will a Catback give my Audi S4 Drone?
Not with iE. Our Catbacks use proprietary DroneTrap™ technology to target and cancel the exhaust frequencies that cause interior drone. This keeps the exhaust aggressive under throttle while remaining comfortable during steady highway cruising.
Is stainless steel the best option for my B9 S4?
Yes. iE Catback systems use premium 304 stainless steel for it's excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Combined with reinforced boxed hangers and secure lap-joint connections, this construction keeps the exhaust strong, sealed, and reliable in any climate.
How difficult is it to install a catback exhaust on a B9 S4?
With iE, installation is straightforward and DIY-friendly. These catbacks are a true bolt-on system that requires no cutting or welding and installs with basic hand tools using factory mounting locations. Most owners will have no trouble performing the installation in their own garage, however an auto-lift will make life much easier.
Do I need a remote for the iE valved Catback?
No, and that's exactly what drivers asked for. Other valved systems ship a remote that works like a garage-door opener. iE valves are controlled right from the factory MMI controls or through our POWERlink app with an iE PRO Tune Suite.
