IS YOUR STOCK INLET ROBBING POWER?

The factory-installed plastic turbo inlet found installed on your VW or Audi Gen 3 1.8T or 2.0T TSI engine is adequate enough for stock cars with factory hardware and ECU calibrations. However, the necked-down design becomes a major flow restriction when ran with power upgrades such as cold air intakes, intercoolers, downpipes, and ECU upgrades.

The IE Turbo Inlet Pipe helps you to get the most out of your IS38 or IS20 turbo and power upgrades by removing the factory flow restriction. The cast aluminum design allows for a constant diameter elbow increasing efficiency from the intake to the turbo without the bottleneck design of the factory unit.

EASY INSTALLATION

Your new turbo inlet pipe has been in-house CNC machined and includes all required hardware to allow for a perfect and easy installation. View and download the install guide here.


REQUIRES AFTERMARKET INTAKE

Due to the larger size of your new inlet pipe, this must be installed with an aftermarket cold air intake. This is a direct install along with an IE V2 MK7/8V MQB Intake Kit (PN IEINCI11). A "universal" silicone adapter is supplied that will allow it to be adapted to most 3-inch cold air intakes (direct fit is not guaranteed with non-IE brand intake kits).

Note: Does not fit with the DV+ Diverter Valve or Diverter Valve spacers.

Simply install your new IE Cast Turbo Inlet Pipe along with the included CARB EO sticker and worry-free pass emissions testing in all 50 states within the United States. This product is CARB certified under CARB EO Number D-838-1. More information can be found on CARBs website located HERE.

Need a replacement CARB sticker? IEIENCI10 (turbo inlets) and IEINCI11 (intake kits) purchased on or after April 5th, 2021 are eligible for a replacement sticker by contacting our support team with proof of purchase. Intakes purchased before April 5th, 2021 are not deemed CARB compliant and do not legally qualify for a CARB sticker.

Turbo Inlet for ‘17 VW Golf GTI

Install was super simple. I didn’t have to loosen or remove much of what was recommended, there is enough space around the inlet in my ‘17 GTI to just remove the old and install the new. Took <30min and made an immediate improvement to turbo lag and throttle response. Couple with an intake and you’ve got a significant power bump and it sounds awesome!

Fits 2022 Tiguan

I know and read everything about this not fitting the new gen Tiguan 2.0. I decided to get it and see why. This is nearly an exact fit. The only modification needed was the small shoulder on the inside of the vacuum line fitting needed to be machined down about 2mm. That little shoulder is all that keeps this from fitting perfectly. After shaving that down the vacuum line clips right in. I am not condoning or telling anyone to modify this part, just saying it can be done. Very happy with the increase throttle response along with the IE intake.
